10th annual Capt Raynaud International Schooner Race

July 15th - 21st, 2007

Rendezvous early afternoon at Deer Harbor, WA on Sunday, July 15th for a dockside potluck Salmon & Oyster barbeque.  Race legs this year will be among the San Juan Islands, across to Dungeness Spit and back to the San Juan Islands again.

The emphasis for the CRISR is to develop sail training and navigational  skills, good seamanship and the enjoyment of sailing in company with so many well-loved schooners.  After-Race get-togethers, raft-ups and potlucks feature good food, dinghy sailing, tall tales, music and lots of laughter.  Remember to bring your instruments and sea chanteys.

Open to all schooners.  So, send up your rigging, shake out your gollywobblers and join an international fleet of schooners for some fine Pacific Northwest  sailing as we also celebrate the schooner MARTHA’s Centennial.
